In-Depth Information
For those seeking a midpriced stay, Wan Chai, on Hong Kong Island, has plenty of
midrange places, some at reasonable rates. Tsim Sha Tsui and Kowloon, however, offer by
far the most bang for your midrange buck.
If you have cash, Hong Kong is your playground. The top-end hotels here are some of
the best in the world.
Hong Kong's two accommodation high seasons are from March to April and October to
November, though things can get tight around Chinese New Year (late January or Febru-
ary) as well. Rates drop outside these periods, sometimes substantially.
