homes. Inside are yellow terrazzo stairs with green balustrades made by Shanghainese
craftsmen half a century ago.

At the big junction, make a left into Austin Rd. The canon-guarded gates of

, now home to the People's Liberation Army (PLA), is on its other side.
Turn into the leafy alley (

) just next to the gates.
Jordan Path
Note how functional buildings loom up on your right, while manicured lawns of colonial
recreation clubs unfurl on your left. As you near Jordan Rd, you'll see
PLA hospital
with
its darkened windows. Crossing Cox's Rd takes you to Victorian-style, Anglican
Kowloon Union Church
(c 1927). Continue along Jordan Rd for Jordan MTR station.
