A favourite of Tsim Sha Tsui's Indian community, Woodlands comes highly recommen-
ded for its excellent South Indian fare and modest charm. Dithering gluttons should order
the thali meal, a metal tray with samplings of curries, rice and dessert.

At 'Shanghai Nights', dark woods and subtle lighting, inspired by 1920s Shanghai, fill the
air with romance. The modern culinary creations, which are lighter than traditional Shang-
hainese fare, are also exquisite. The only exceptions to the Shanghai-style harmony are
the Cantonese dim sum served at lunch, though these are wonderful too.
