It was found that Na 2 FeP 2 O 7 was electrochemically active [ 29 ]. Na 2 FeP 2 O 7 has
a triclinic structure with the space group P1 (Fig. 14 c). In the structure, metal
polyhedra (FeO 6 and FeO 5 ) and pyrophosphate (P 2 O 7 ) are interconnected with
sharing
corners
that create various channel structures for Na-ion migration.
