Opposite Canongate Kirk , go down Crighton's Close past the Scottish Poetry Library (
Click here ) , then left and left again up Reid's Close, to get a great view of the Scottish

Palace of Holyroodhouse
The Royal Mile ends at the ornate gates of the Palace of Holyroodhouse ( Click here ),
the residence of the royal family when they're in town.
