In-Depth Information
South Edinburgh
Stretching south from the Old Town and taking in the 19th-century tenements of
Tollcross, Bruntsfield and Marchmont, and the upmarket suburbs of Newington,
Grange and Morningside, this is a peaceful residential neighbourhood of smart
Victorian flats and spacious garden villas. There's not much to see in the way of
tourist attractions, but there are many good restaurants, cafes and pubs.
