Urban Hillwalking on Arthur's Seat
To climb Arthur's Seat from Holyrood, cross Queen's Dr and follow the path that slants leftwards
up the hillside from the north end of Salisbury Crags, heading towards the ruins of St Anthony's
Chapel, then turn south on a rough path that follows the floor of a shallow dip just east of Long
Row crags. The path eventually curves around to the left and rises more steeply up some steps to
a saddle; turn right here and climb to the rocky summit of Arthur's Seat.
