A Walk Through Holyrood Park
Holyrood Park covers 650 acres of varied landscape, including crags, moorland
and lochs, plus the miniature mountain of Arthur's Seat, little changed since its
enclosure as a royal hunting ground in the 16th century. It's a wildlife haven and
a huge recreational resource for the city, thronged with walkers, cyclists and pic-
nickers on sunny weekends.
