economic and political freedoms, the same freedoms are used by some to engage
in illegal activities, as shown by some of the traffic that went on in Silk Road. The
use of bitcoin in transactions involving money laundering, illicit drugs, narcotics,
and child pornography (to name just a few) also leads to resistance from legitimate
businesses.
