pair of charming solar-powered wooden houses overlooking the bay is easily the best deal
on Mancarrón with breezy hammock-strung balconies, spacious rooms and huge bath-
rooms with outdoor showers and bidets (no joke!). Hotel profits support the local school.
If there is no-one around, ask for Doña Esperanza at the library.
Hotel Mancarrón

bling whitewashed hotel surrounded by tropical gardens on a hillside above the southern
shore was the archipelago's first. The rooms are large and comfortable but fairly spare.
The restaurant, however, is exceptional, serving tasty, inventive meals in a large screened
dining room.
