and coves, and catch an outrageous sunset.
Activities
There is great snorkeling on the east and north sides of the island. Many hotels in these
areas rent snorkeling gear, as do the dive shops. If you want a guide, ask in the village for
Alfonso ( 8434-2520; School, 300m N) , who runs tours in his boat (US$20 per person) and
also organizes fishing trips (US$40 per person).

yet laid-back, this locally owned dive shop has good equipment and experienced instruct-
ors that really know these reefs. They visit over 20 different sites, and offer open-water
(US$305), rescue-diver (US$230) and advanced open-water (US$240) courses. They also
rent snorkel gear for US$5 per day.
