Nico's
OFFLINE MAP GOOGLE MAP
(South End; noon-2am Thu-Sun) Part lobster cooperative, part rocking bar, Nico's is a
truly authentic island experience. It's basically a warehouse by the water´s edge with a
couple of fridges and a booming sound system. It's no longer the wildly popular spot it
once was, but it's still great for a beer. The biggest party is the Sunday session.

(Long Bay; 10am-10pm) The only bar and restaurant on Long Bay is the barefoot, palm-
thatched variety. It draws its biggest crowds on Sunday afternoons for a soulful reggae
jam after the baseball games.

(South End; 9pm-3am Thu-Sun) Corn Island's hottest disco is an indoor/outdoor affair
right by the water. There is a small dance floor with thumping dancehall music, but most
hipsters just hang around outside. It's down a dark, bumpy road in South End - take a
taxi.
DRINKING WATER
Tap water on the Atlantic Coast generally comes from wells or rainwater collection tanks and is
usually untreated. Often it is potable, but it may also contain bacteria; bring water-purification
tablets if you don't want to take the risk. Bottled water is widely available and some hotels offer
filtered water refills.
