The newest and shiniest hotel in town is adjacent to the supermercado of the same name.
You'll find two stories of superclean rooms with firm beds and all the amenities, although
there are few external windows and it lacks the charm of many of the other lodgings.
Eating
Most local lobster is exported, but when it's in season you'll find it at around US$7.50 a
plate - often the same price as chicken or fish! If you're pinching pennies, head to the
market, where you'll find some stalls selling tasty fried fish.

Restaurante Faramhi

popular restaurant serves some of the best seafood in town including an awesome mixed-
seafood soup, a local specialty. The dining area is a little crowded, but the food is most
definitely worth it.

Kabu Payaska
(Parque Central, 1.5km N; seafood dishes US$7.50-8.50; noon-10pm) Bilwi's best-loved sea-
food house is set on one large concrete patio overlooking the swirling Caribbean. Order
fish, shrimp or (occasionally) lobster, sauced, steamed and fried. You will leave satisfied.
This neighborhood is considered unsafe, so take a taxi (US$.70) at night.

Wachi's Pizza

200km radius, this place would run a brisk trade even if it wasn't up to scratch - fortu-
nately it is with crispy crusts and tasty toppings served on a pleasant porch overlooking
the Caribbean.
