lights start spinning at 9pm, but the in-crowd doesn't show up until at least 11pm, primed
for an all-night party. This area's a bit desolate - it's best to get a cab home.

Getting There & Around
Getting to the beaches north and south of town can be expensive, so ask at the surf shops
if they have a boat going with extra space for you. Casa Oro Hostel's regular beach shuttle
to Playa Maderas (return US$5) leaves at 8:15am, 10:45am, 1pm and 5pm.
Work is underway to open an international border to Costa Rica on the road south of El
Ostional - keep your ears open.
