) With sweeping bay views and fairly fabulous casas (houses) featuring hacienda-style
furnishings, kitchens, terraces and satellite TV, this resort is the best in town. For the
price, we only wish you were beachside. It has three pools, bookstores, a spa, two restaur-
ants and plenty to keep you busy, along with a nearby nature reserve.

than a real building, this wooden classic dates back to 1902 and used to be one of the So-
moza family's fabulous weekend getaways. If you've got the cash, splash it on one of the
upstairs rooms - the four-poster beds are plush and the small bay windows have priceless
views.

US$70; ) The only hotel in town actually on the beach offers a good deal for
groups - the rooms can sleep up to four people! The brick rooms are OK-sized and
painted in cheery colors, and there are some sandy, shady hangout areas out back. The
beachside pool is sweet.
Hotel Villa Isabella

fortably decorated island-style rooms in a classic old house at the top of town. The pool is
for dipping purposes only, but the cool tranquility of the place makes it one of the better
options in town.
