10.3 Results and Discussion
10.3.1 Stress-Strain Relationship
The nominal stress-strain curves obtained from the experiment and simulation are
compared in Fig. 10.3 . The experimental stress-strain relationship is approxi-
mately linear at small strains. However, a nonlinear feature becomes apparent
