In-Depth Information
Lots of eating and drinking establishments line this stretch of Wood-
stock, but one of the friendlier and livelier options is the Delta Cafe, just
past SE 46th Ave., where you can get Southern home cooking and a
40-ounce bottle of Pabst Blue Ribbon served in a bucket of ice like
Champagne.
Before or after visiting the Delta, pop in at the Lutz Tavern, a beloved
Reed student hangout next door. Recent changes in ownership have left
it looking like a bar in search of an identity, but it has a long history and
an easygoing vibe.
From here, retrace your steps back down the hill to SE 39th Ave., turn
right, and reach the starting point, or catch a bus at Woodstock Blvd.
and 46th Ave. toward downtown.
