Incident prefix
Service Manager incidents are automatically prefixed with the letters IR (Incident Record) by
default. You can modify this prefix by performing the following steps:
1.
Select the Settings node of the Administration workspace of the Service Manager
console.
2.
Double-click Incident Settings in the details pane. This opens the Incident Settings
dialog box.
3.
Change the Prefix setting, shown in Figure 4-20, to the desired prefix for your organi-
zation.
