Inlet Harbor Restaurant and Marina SEAFOOD For great waterfront views,
outdoor and indoor dining, live music, and a scenic view of the Ponce Inlet Lighthouse,
Inlet Harbor is one of those places that reminds you why you're here. In addition to the
good sea-fare—peel-and-eat shrimp, pan-fried grouper, deepwater lobster tails—there's
also Florida fresh gator tail, fried and served with a honey mustard sauce. Try it—it tastes
like chicken! The restaurant also has charter captains on-site to take you out boating and
if you get lucky out there, the restaurant will even cook your catch for you. A new 65-pas-
senger party boat also departs daily from the restaurant's dock, in case you haven't partied
enough already.

Julian's Dining Room & Lounge AMERICAN This family-owned restaurant
has catered to locals and tourists since 1967, providing a casual atmosphere and friendly
service. Unlike most eateries in this area, it specializes in prime rib and prime Western
beef (filet mignon, strip steak, and T-bone), but the seafood is far from second fiddle
here. Good choices include broiled snapper, soft-shell crab, and king crab au gratin.
88 S. Atlantic Ave., Ormond Beach. & 386/677-6767. Reservations suggested. Main courses $10-$30.
AE, DC, MC, V. Daily 4-11pm. From Daytona Beach, take Atlantic Ave./Fla. A1A N. and look for the large
A-frame on the left, 2 blocks before Fla. 40.
Ocean Deck Restaurant & Beach Club Value SEAFOOD/PUB FARE Known
by spring breakers, bikers, and other beach-goers as Daytona's best “beach pub” since
1940, the three-story Ocean Deck is also the best restaurant in the busy area around the
Main Street Pier. The downstairs reggae bar is as sweaty and packed as ever (a band plays
nightly 9pm-2:30am). The upstairs dining room can be noisy, too, but come here for
good food, reasonable prices, and great ocean views. You can choose from a wide range
of seafood, chicken, sandwiches, and the best burgers on the beach, but don't pass up the
mahimahi (look for “trophy” on the menu), a bargain at $13. There's valet parking after
dark, or you can park free at the lot behind the Ocean Deck's Reggae Republic surf shop,
a block away on Atlantic Avenue.
127 S. Ocean Ave. (at Kemp St.). & 386/253-5224. www.oceandeck.com. Reservations accepted but not
necessary. Main courses $12-$16; salads and sandwiches $6-$10. AE, DISC, MC, V. Daily 11am-2am (bar
to 3am).

The Cellar ITALIAN This fine-dining classical Italian eatery occupies the base-
ment of a 1907 Victorian built as President Warren G. Harding's winter home, and it is
now listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Brick walls make for a cozy, un-
Florida-like ambience. While the restaurant's history is authentically American, an all-
Italian menu features some tempting options. Chef/owner Sam Moggio is a graduate of
