ESPN Club AMERICAN If you are a sports enthusiast, this is the place for you.
Sports memorabilia hangs from every wall, and television monitors (all 71 of them) sur-
round you at every turn—ensuring you won't miss a minute of the big game. The all-
American fare includes such choices as “Boo-Yeah” chili, hot wings, and burgers.
Sandwiches and salads are available as well. The service is impeccable—never have I had
a waiter so quick on his feet. While the food is quite good, it's the upbeat action-packed
atmosphere that draws the crowds here.

'Ohana Kids PACIFIC RIM Its star is earned on the fun front, but the decibel level
here can get a bit overwhelming, especially for those looking for a relaxing evening out.
Inside, you're welcomed as a “cousin,” which fits because 'Ohana means “family” in
Hawaiian. As your food is being prepared over an 18-foot fire pit, the staff keeps your
eyes and ears filled with all sorts of shenanigans. The blowing of a conch shell summons
a storyteller, coconut races get underway in the center aisle, and you can shed your inhi-
bitions and shake it at the hula lessons. When it starts, the meal is served rapid-fire (ask
your waiter to slow the pace if it's too fast). The edibles include a variety of skewers (think
shish kabob), including turkey, steak, and pork. Trimmings include assorted veggies,
potatoes, fried wontons, salad, shrimp, and chicken wings all served up family style. A
full bar offers limited wine selections (tropical alcoholic drinks are available for an added
fee). Note: Ask for a seat in the main dining room, or you won't get a good view of the
entertainment.

The Wave AMERICAN The Contemporary's newest restaurant (opened in 2008)
lures diners with a modern but welcoming atmosphere and seasonal menus of fresh and
healthy American fare accented with flavors from around the world. Dishes are prepared
with local and regional products whenever possible, and entrees might include whole
wheat linguine with clams, rock shrimp and fresh thyme in a chunky tomato broth; or a
scrumptious braised lamb shank smothered in a bulgur lentil stew and red-wine sauce.
You'll also find a selection of organic beers and trendy cocktails, including an antioxidant
cosmo (with wild berry vodka, black raspberry liqueur, açai juice with agave, lychee, aloe
juice, and freshly squeezed lemon juice), as well as an extensive and innovative wine list
from around the globe (though, quirkily, they all have screw caps).
