Boma Moments AFRICAN Here's a truly unique and worthwhile dining expe-
rience. This restaurant's warm and welcoming atmosphere, evoking an African market-
place, is enhanced by colorful banners hanging from high above. An authentic thatched
roof and large wooden tabletops made from tremendous tree trunks add to the impres-
sive decor. In front of the open exhibition kitchen is an incredible buffet of international
cuisine featuring authentic dishes from more than 50 African nations. A wood-burning
grill sends delicious aromas wafting throughout the room, enticing diners to try some of
the more diverse delicacies. Adventurous diners can expect such treats as Moroccan sea-
food salad (mussels, scallops, shrimp, and couscous); curried coconut seafood stew;
chicken pepper pot soup; and much more. The watermelon rind salad is a specialty and
is both delicious and refreshing—just don't forget to save room for the yummy desserts.
Kids with less sophisticated taste buds can dine on traditional American favorites. There's
also a breakfast buffet (try the specialty juices—they're delicious).
Tip no. 1: If there's something you particularly like, just ask for the recipe—Disney is
surprisingly good about sharing their culinary secrets. Tip no. 2: Most tables here seat
larger parties, so couples or single diners may end up waiting longer for a table.

California Grill CALIFORNIAN Located on the Contemporary Resort's
15th floor, this stunning restaurant offers views of the Magic Kingdom and lagoon below
while your eyes and mouth feast on an eclectic menu. A Wolfgang Puck-ish interior
incorporates Art Deco elements (curved pearwood walls, vivid splashes of color, polished
black granite surfaces) with a charged and upbeat atmosphere, but the central focus is an
exhibition kitchen with a wood-burning oven and rotisserie. The menu's headliners
change to take advantage of fresh market fare but may include pan-roasted Atlantic
salmon with fingerling potatoes, edamame, and orange soy butter; and oak-fired filet of
beef with Gruyere-potato pave, broccoli, and teriyaki barbecue sauce. The Grill also has
