Cantina de San Angel MEXICAN Counter-service eateries are the most common
places to grab a bite in the parks, and this one's a good notch or two above Taco Bell.
Come here for a decent burrito, taco, or churro on the fly. Located just across from the
San Angel Inn, a seat at one of the umbrella-shaded tables offers a good view of the
lagoon. You can also grab a Dos Equis or frozen margarita. At press time, it was
announced that seating would be expanded and a new menu would be in place by the
summer of 2010.

Kringla Bakeri og Kafe NORWEGIAN The lunch-pail crowd loves this combina-
tion cafe-bakery. Grab-n-go options include a plate of smoked salmon and scrambled
eggs, and smoked ham and Jarlsberg cheese sandwiches, but it's the array of tempting
pastries, cakes, cookies, and waffles with strawberry preserves that bring in the majority.
Sit in the small, open-air seating area (just beyond the door, adjacent to the Stave Church
and the replica Viking ship. Wine is sold by the glass.

Sunshine Seasons in the Land Value FOOD COURT This moderately upscale food
court has a very contemporary earthy decor (continuing the look and feel of the intricate
mosaic leading to its entrance). The large, open seating area is separated into smaller sec-
tions by decorative partitions; open to the second story, it retains an airy feel. The food isn't
gourmet, but of all the cafeterias and counter-service stops in the World, Sunshine Seasons
has the most diversity because it is five walk-ups in one. It's especially good if you're travel-
ing with kids who possess finicky (and varied) palates; it's often crowded with families for
that very reason. There's an Asian Wok shop (stir fry and barbecue), a wood-fired grill
(Atlantic salmon and flatbreads), a sandwich shop (Black Forest ham, turkey, Cuban), and
a soup-and-salad counter (with veggies from the Land's own gardens). There's also a small
bakery. An open kitchen allows everyone to watch the behind-the-scenes action. Wine by
the glass, frosty drafts, and bottled beer are also available.
