If you have the time and energy, pay €1 to climb the church tower for the view.
Perast's only other “sight” is its Town Museum, which fills a grand old hall with paint-
ings, furniture, navy uniforms, model ships, pistols, portraits of VIPs (very important Per-
astians), medals, traditional musical instruments, and other historic bric-a-brac. It's pretty

Eating in Perast: Foranenjoyabledrinkormeal,considertheupscale Conte restaurant,
filling a pier on the bay in the middle of town (€8-13 pastas, €12-20 main dishes). On the
far side of the square is another, well-shaded pier restaurant, Admiral (€9-13 pastas, €9-20
main dishes). Both are open daily and attached to recommended hotels.
