As you wander, the world melts away and you're alone with the sounds of nature: wind,
water, birds, and frogs. The garden's centerpiece is the whimsical 18th-century Neptune
Fountain, featuring the god of the sea flanked by water-spouting nymphs and fishes as he
holds court over a goldfish-stocked, lily-padded pond. Circling around behind the fountain,
you'll discover that it's fed by an impressive 230-foot-long aqueduct that was built in the
15th century.
