Getting There
Cavtat and the Elaphite Islands are easy to reach by private
excursion boat
from
Dubrovnik's Old Port; Cavtat also works by bus. A
city-run boat
links the Old Port to
nearby Lokrum.
Public ferries
connect Dubrovnik's Port Gruž to the Elaphite Islands (the
most appealing is Lopud). The other destinations are farther afield, best reached by
boat
(Mljet) or by
