chunk of coral, it's likely imported. To know what you're getting, shop at an actual jeweler
instead of a souvenir shop.

Several pleasant gift shops in Dubrovnik (with additional branches
throughout Dalmatia) hawk fun, if sometimes made-in-China, items. Look for these chains,
which are a bit classier than the many no-name shops around town:
