If you're staying at one of the private rooms or apartments outside the Old Town, clearly
communicate your arrival time to your host, and ask for directions to the
sobe
. Some hosts
may offer to come pick you up, but because only a few vehicles have permission to enter
the Old Town area, most will need to meet you at the bus station (a scenic 10-minute stroll
from the harbor, through the middle of the main square—see details next).
