Getting There: Catch bus #106 from in front of the Cathedral (3/hour) and ride six

Art Museums
In addition to the art gallery at the Mimara Museum (described earlier), art lovers may want
tovisit atrioofotherZagreb artmuseums. Three different collections coverworksfromthe
20th century through today: The Modern Gallery features art from the early 20th century
(afewblockssouthofJela č i ć SquareatAndrijeHebranga1, www.moderna-galerija.hr );the
Museum of Contemporary Art focuses on mid-century art (south of the river and not as
convenient to visit, avenija Dubrovnik 17, www.msu.hr ); and the innovative Lauba, with

Sleeping in Zagreb
As this is a convention and business town, rates at business-oriented hotels are highest on
weekdays mid-February through mid-July, then again from September through November.
At other times of year, and weekends year-round, you'll generally enjoy lower rates. I've
listed the average rates—they may be slightly higher or lower with demand. If I've listed
two sets of rates separated by slashes, the first is for high season and the second is for low
season.
$$$ Jägerhorn Hotel is the top choice in Zagreb for affordable elegance in an excellent
