mountain. Buy your ticket, then climb up the stairs and wait with the mob to board the little
open-air train, which slings you deep into the mountain, whizzing past wonderful forma-

follow a guide on a well-lit, circular, paved path through more formations.
First you'll hike uphill into the “Big Mountain”—the highest point inside the caves, and
(surprisingly) actually higher than where you entered. You're surrounded by a sea of fairy-
chimney stalagmites and stalactites, some of them a hundred feet tall. Then you'll hike
downhillandcrossabridgeoveracanyoninto“SpaghettiHall,”namedforthelong,skinny
stalactites that seem to be dripping from the ceiling. Also in this area are some amazing,
