Postojna (poh-STOY-nah) is the most accessible—and most touristy—cave experience in
the region. It's the biggest cave system in Slovenia, with more than 12 miles of explored
caves (three of which you'll see on the tour). It's also the easiest to visit, since much of the
tour is on a fast-moving train, and the rest is well-paved, well-lit, and not too steep. All of
this makes it Slovenia's single most popular tourist attraction.

and wait for 2 million years. (Serves half a million tourists each year.)
