Gay & Lesbian Travelers
Few places in Latin America are outwardly gay-friendly and Guatemala is no different. Technically, homosexuality is
legal for persons over 18 years, but the reality can be another story, with harassment and violence against gays too often
poisoning the plot. Don't even consider testing the tolerance for homosexual public displays of affection here.
