The long-standing
Zaculeu has loads of character, and despite its advanced age remains quite spiffy. Rooms
in the 'new section' (just 20 years old) are a bit pricier but brighter and more stylish. The
sprawling patio area, overflowing with plants and chirping birds, is conducive to loun-
ging, as is the excellent brick-walled bar.

This business-class
hotel is one of Huehue's poshest, with gold filigree bedspreads, padded headboards and
jumbo flatscreen TVs. Rooms ending in -08 have mountain views.

tractive courtyard here, ringed by spacious, modern rooms with arched pine ceilings and
good hot showers. The patio restaurant out back serves up good-value set lunches (Q22)

The simple, smallish rooms here
have pine furniture and homey touches, and there's a decent restaurant on the premises.
The real attraction, though, is the rambling rainforest garden out back, with paths for
