The town residen-
ce of coffee barons through the 19th century, this atmospheric guesthouse was thought-
fully renovated by an American couple in the 1980s, with traditionally outfitted rooms,
tranquil gardens and a brilliant roof terrace/bar. Despite the rural ambience, it's quite close
to the central square.

blocks below the Teatro Municipal, the colonial-style Modelo offers 19 atmospheric
