Tickets to Flores cost around Q1330/2300 one-way/round-trip with Grupo Taca and
Q1250/2100 with TAG, but some travel agents, especially in Antigua, offer large dis-
counts on these prices.
Sixteen international airlines also serve Guatemala, flying direct from North, Central
and South America, Europe, Israel and Japan.

BUS
Buses from here run all over Guatemala and into Mexico, Belize, Honduras, El Salvador
and beyond. Many bus companies have their own terminals, some of which are in Zona 1.
The city council has been on a campaign to get long-distance bus companies out of the
city center, so it may be wise to double check with Inguat or staff at your hotel about the
office location before heading out there. Buses for the Pacific Coast mostly leave from the
CentraSur terminal. Departures for Central and Eastern Guatemala and the Petén mostly
leave from CentraNorte. Second-class buses for the Western Highlands leave from a series
of roadside
paradas
(bus stops) on 41a Calle between 6a and 7a Avs in Zona 8.

man Alas also serves multiple destinations in Honduras.
