10.2.4. Rhodium - Catalyzed Asymmetric Hydroformylation of Vinyl acetate
The Rh-catalyzed asymmetric hydroformylation of vinyl acetate is generally more chal-
lenging than the hydroformylation of vinylarenes. This process yields 2- and 3- acetoxy-
propanals with high selectivity (Scheme 10.4 ).
