In-Depth Information
Flights depart Grand Cayman in the early morning, stopping first
on Little Cayman and continuing to Cayman Brac. Once on the
ground, you can rent a vehicle (a Jeep on Little Cayman) and en-
joy a self-guided tour of the island, birdwatching, scuba diving,
snorkeling, or fishing. Guided tours are available on Little Cay-
man; a special package including flight, tour, and lunch is offered
through Island Air (Monday-Friday, 9 am to 5 pm;
345-949-
5252, fax 345-949-7044). With daily service from Grand Cayman,
flights depart on the 45-minute trip several times daily (times
vary by season). The day-trip package costs US $110.
Parasailing
If you're ready to enjoy a bird's-eye view of Grand Cayman, sign up for a
parasail ride over Seven Mile Beach. This is the only place in the Cayman
Islands where parasailing is offered. Cost is about $60.

Bicycling
Bicycling is another fun and generally safe way to see the islands.
Each island has bicycles for rent. A favorite with bicyclists is Lit-
tle Cayman, where nearly every accommodation - whether a
B&B, hotel or resort - offers complimentary use of bicycles to its guests.
Cayman Brac is also a good option for cyclists; bikes are for rent and roads
have very little traffic.
For more on cycling, contact the Cayman Islands Cycling Association ,
Box 456, George Town, Grand Cayman, BWI,
345-949-8666. The associ-
ation has events scheduled throughout the year. Also, check The Cay-
manian Compass on Fridays for information.
