The future is in good hands: The next generation is up to the challenge. In
fact, many of the givens and assumptions that have shackled previous generations
of designers do not weigh heavily on the next generation. They are integrative
thinkers. They see the opportunities for closing loopholes and seeking regenera-
tive cycles. They understand the need to build environmental values into design.
They are prepared to embrace the regenerative model and are committed to an
even brighter future. The future is green—and that is good.
