In Fig.

are presented the obtained trabecular architecture for each one of
the control values considering the proposed remodelling algorithm. In Fig.
7.62
are presented the correspondent von Mises effective stress distributions.
The obtained trabecular distributions show the same bone resorption below the
implant and well defined horizontal trabeculae. These results, resembling real
trabecular structures, are in accordance with clinical observations for the consid-
ered mandible section (plane Oyz).
