presented the results regarding the second and third mechanical cases. Notice, in
all femoral mechanical cases examples, that the formation of principal and sec-
ondary trabecular structures are coherent with the ones presented in Fig. 7.37 a, b.
In order to obtain a closer result to the real proximal femur X-ray plate it is
necessary to simultaneously apply all mechanical cases. In the work of Beaupré
et al. [ 14 , 15 ] it was originally suggested that the first mechanical case should be
applied assuming 6,000 cycles per day and 2,000 cycles per day for the second and
