than the Metro for moving around the city with luggage, but they can be tricky to fig-
ure out. Don't take a taxi from the station unless you have pre-booked it (see “By Taxi,”

By Plane:
International flights arrive at the Pulkovo-2 terminal (Pulkovo-1 is for do-
mestic flights). Look for the official taxi booth in the arrivals hall—a ride to the center costs
about 900 R. You can also take bus #13 (25 R, pay in cash on board) to the Moskovskaya
Metro station and ride downtown by subway (buy a 28-R token from windows or ma-
chines). Make sure to stand at the inbound stop of bus #13 (nearer the arrivals hall). A new
international terminal is scheduled to open at Pulkovo in late 2013. For more on Pulkovo
