InternetAccess:Metro24 is on the lower level of the Viru Keskus mall, where city buses
depart (across from platform 6; €2.60/hour, Mon-Fri 7:00-23:00, Sat-Sun 10:00-23:00,
tel. [phone]). The main TI has one terminal where you can briefly check your email
for free. There are open Wi-Fi networks literally all over town; look for the orange-and-
black “wifi.ee” logo in shop windows. Every hotel I list offers free Wi-Fi, and some
have a computer for guests to use.
Laundry: Pesumaja Sol is just walkable from the Old Town, beyond the Viru Keskus
mall and Kaubamaja department store (or take tram #2 or #4 to the Paberi stop, a few
blocks away). Choose between self-serve (€5/load, ask staff to interpret Estonian-only
instructions) or full-service (€9.50/load, Mon-Fri 7:00-20:00, Sat 8:00-16:00, closed
Sun, Maakri 23, tel. [phone]).
Travel Agency: Estravel, at the corner of Suur-Karja and Müürivähe, is as good as any.
It's handy and sells boat tickets for no extra fee (Mon-Fri 9:00-18:00, closed Sat-Sun,
