Currently, the proposed facial expression recognition method can be applied for
only frontal faces without large occlusions such as a hand overlapping a face. This
can be a crucial limitation in the emotional scene detection from lifelog videos.
Improving the facial expression recognition framework and getting rid of this limi-
tation are also included in the future work.
