Founded in 1994, the thematic multimedia exhibits here
are known for their intellectual diversity. Seven group
exhibitions are presented each year, with a focus on con-
textualizing contemporary world art and culture.
ART IN GENERAL

This exhibition space, founded in 1981, is devoted to the unconventional art of emerging
artists. Recent exhibits have featured audio installations set in an elevator, and a mini-
ature theatre.
ART PROJECTS INTERNATIONAL

Highly respected for showing leading contemporary artists from Asia, this gallery's en-
gaging exhibits are mostly in print and have featured artists like Zheng Xuewu, Gwenn
Thomas and Richard Tsao. No sign - just walk in.
ARTISTS SPACE

This video, performance art, architecture and design space has been a Soho mainstay for
more than thirty years - contemporary artists dominate.

This landmark store is great to wander, with enticing coffee-table books and houseware
in addition to the expensive clothes.
