On your left as you enter is a deli counter with a dizzying array of gorgeous cured meats.
Order lots of small plates: a selection of salumi and some cheeses (each choice $6-9,
platters $18-27); escarole and anchovy salad ($13); pasta ($15); meatballs (if available).

One of the surer-footed spots in the neighbourhood, with an emphasis on marketfresh in-
gredients (especially vegetables) and comforting dishes, like scallop and sea urchin stew
