As shown in Figure 10.10, each entry in the list contains three pieces of
information:
The title: This indicates the source of the information.
The URL: This is the web address for the page containing the
information.
The text: Google shows an excerpt of the information, with the
search words highlighted in bold.

To access a site that appears in the results, click it in the list.
Narrowing Your Search
Sometimes, you may find that a search yields too many results to be
useful. To pare things down, try adding words to your search string. For
example, if you type lapwing , Google finds more than 337,000 results.
If you search instead for lapwing nesting habits , the number of results
drops to 41,300. The longer the search phrase, the more likely it is to
narrow down the results to a manageable number.
Advanced Search Options and Features
Some search engines offer advanced search features, and Google is no
exception. To access these features, type http://www.google.com/
advanced_search in the browser's address bar. You'll see a screen
like the one shown in Figure 10.11. Fill in any of the relevant fields to
narrow your search. For example, fill in the This Exact Word or Phrase
field if you want to find pages that contain that text verbatim. Or, fill in
