Viewing Your Browser History
By default, Internet Explore stores a list of recently visited websites,
called the
browser history
. If you forget the URL of a site you've visited
recently, you may be able to access it from this list.
To view your browser history, click the down arrow on the right side of the
address bar. A menu of previously visited sites appears. (See Figure 10.7.)
Simply click the site you want to visit, and the browser will reload it.

Using the Browser History feature.
To view even more sites visited, you can open the Favorites Center pane
and click the History tab. There, you can choose to view sites by date—
that is, from the current day, current week, one week ago, two weeks
ago, or three weeks ago. (See Figure 10.8.) Or, you can open the drop-
down menu at the top of the pane and choose to view sites in alphabeti-
cal order (choose View By Site), by frequency of visit (choose View Most
Visited), or in the order they were visited today (choose View By Order
Visited Today). You can also search your history list by choosing Search
History from the drop-down list, typing a search term, and clicking the
Search Now button.
Internet Explorer automatically saves your browsing history for 20 days.
If you like, you can change this setting. The maximum is 999 days.
