not that flash but it's comfortable. The somewhat old-fashioned rooms are of a decent size
and have cable TV, minifridges and good, always-hot showers. You get a welcome cock-
tail on arrival.

Pucallpa does cafes and ice-cream parlors well, but has few noteworthy restaurants. The
heat in the middle of the day means that restaurants tend to open by 7am for breakfast.
Delicious cakes and ice cream can be found at cafes such as Fuente Soda Tropitop
