SCUBA DIVING
Scuba diving in Peru is limited. The water is cold except from mid-December to March.
During these months the water is at its cloudiest, due to runoff from mountain rivers. Dive
shops in Lima offer PADI certification classes, rent scuba equipment and have trips to sea-
lion colonies along the coast.
