Línea The company's booking office Offline map Google map ( 24-5181; www.linea.pe ;
cnr San Mart í n & Orbegoso; 9am-9pm Mon-Fri, 9am-7pm Sat) is conveniently loc-
ated in the historical center, although all buses leave from the terminal ( 29-9666; Pa-
namericana Sur 2855) on Panamericana Sur, a S5 taxi ride away. Línea goes to Lima nine
times daily between 8:30am and 10:45pm; to Piura at 1:30pm and 11pm, to Cajamarca at
10:30am, 1pm, 10pm and 10:30pm; to Chiclayo six times between 6am and 7pm, stop-
ping at Pacasmayo and Guadalupe; to Chimbote four times a day (5:30am, 11am, 2pm and
7pm); and to Huaraz at 9pm and 9:15pm.
Movil Tours ( 28-6538; www.moviltours.com.pe ; America Sur 3959, Ovalo Larco)
Specializes in very comfortable long-haul tourist services. It has a 10pm service to Lima;
10am, 9:40pm and 10:20pm departures to Huaraz, the former two continuing on to Caraz;
a bus at 4:45pm to Chachapoyas; and a 3pm bus to Tarapoto. A taxi to the station is S5 or
catch a red-signed A combi (California/Esperanza) on Av España and hop off at Ovalo
Larco.
Oltursa Offline map Google map ( 26-3055; www.oltursa.pe ; Ejército 342) Offers three
daily departures at noon, 10pm and 11pm. Oltursa shares an authorized booking agency
with Ittsa on Plaza de Armas, but this office sometimes charges commissions.
Ormeño Offline map Google map ( 25-9782; www.grupo-ormeno.com.pe ; Ejército 233)
Has two night buses to Lima leaving at 7pm and 10pm, as well as one night bus (9pm) to
Máncora and Tumbes, continuing on to Guayaquil, on the Ecuadorean coast. Additionally,
they have a Monday and Friday departure (10pm) to Quito, continuing on to Bogotá in
Colombia.
Transportes Horna ( 24-3514; America Sur 1368) Has seven daily departures to
Huamachuco and three buses to Cajamarca (1:30pm, 8pm, 11:30pm).
Turismo Días ( 20-1237; www.turdias.com ; N de Piérola 1079) Opposite El Dorado,
has four departures to Cajamarca (10am, 1:15pm, 10:30pm, 11pm) and two to Cajabamba
(8pm, 9pm).
AROUND TRUJILLO
Green-signed B combis to Huaca Esmeralda (S1), Chan Chan (S1) and Huanchaco
(S1.50) pass the corners of España and Ejército, and España and Industrial every few
minutes. Buses for La Esperanza go northwest along the Panamericana and can drop you
off at La Huaca Arco Iris. For Huacas del Sol y de la Luna, take a taxi (S4) to the Primax
petrol station at Ovalo Grau southeast of the centre, where combis (S1.50) pass every 15
minutes or so. Note that these buses are worked by professional thieves; keep valuables
hidden and watch your bags carefully. A taxi to most of these sites will cost S10 to S15.
