Seminario Cerámicas
( 20-1002; www.ceramicaseminario.com ; Berriozabal 405; 8am-7pm) The interna-
tionally known local potter Pablo Seminario creates original work with a pre-conquest in-
fluence. His workshop - actually a small factory - is open to the public and offers a well-
organized tour through the entire ceramics process.

Banco de la Nación (Mariscal Castilla s/n) changes US dollars. There are ATMs at the
grifo (gas station) on the corner of the highway and the main street, Mariscal Castilla, and
along the highway to its east. Clínica Pardo ( 984-10-8948) , on the highway a couple
of blocks west of the grifo, offers medical attention.
Getting There & Away
Urubamba serves as the valley's principal transportation hub. The bus terminal is about
1km west of town on the highway. Buses leave every 15 minutes for Cuzco (S4, two
hours) via Pisac (S2.50, one hour) or Chinchero (S3, 50 minutes). Buses (S1.50, 30
minutes) and colectivos (S2.50, 25 minutes) to Ollantaytambo leave often.
Colectivos to Quillabamba (S35, 5 hours) leave from the grifo .
A standard mototaxi ride around town costs S1.
